WHAT IS THE PUBLIC OPINION OF GUAN YIN BODHISATTVA?
Caller: A Buddhist friend had a dream and in the dream, Master asked him, “What’s the public opinion of Guan Yin Bodhisattva?” He was unable to answer even after giving it much thought. Can Master help decipher the dream?
Master Jun Hong Lu: What’s the public opinion of Guan Yin Bodhisattva? “Respond to every request, the saviour of sufferings and disasters.” Why do we hail Guan Yin Bodhisattva as the saviour of sufferings and disasters? Isn’t this the public opinion?
Caller: In the dream, he was unable to answer when asked by Master. Does it mean his spiritual cultivation is still lacking in this specific aspect?
Master Jun Hong Lu: Yes, he has yet to grasp the true meaning of emulating Guan Yin Bodhisattva.
