Caller: How do you do, Master Lu? A Buddhist friend would like to know what they should do with their altar at home when they go away to the temple for prayers on the first day of lunar month.
Master Jun Hong Lu: He still has to offer incense at home.
Caller: What if there is no one at home?
Master Jun Hong Lu: What do you mean by that?
Caller: That is, the whole family has gone to a temple in another city for prayer.
Master Jun Hong Lu: I see. He still has to offer heart incense then.
Caller: To offer heart incense, do they need to bring along a picture of their altar with them?
Master Jun Hong Lu: If you use a picture, you will need an incense burner. Without the picture, you may simply offer heart incense.
